Pros
- •The larger size provides extra space, making it ideal for small spaces like a Tiny House rental.
- •Offers the convenience of not having to pull the trash can out of the cabinet frequently.
- •Visually appealing design that fits well into the existing space.
- •Constructed from strong steel for durability compared to previous rust-prone models.
- •Features a small tray in the back for convenient trash bag storage.
Cons
- •Significant usability issues with the soft close feature making it difficult to pull the can out.
- •Opening the trash can is challenging; it tends to 'stick' and requires effort.
- •The handle design does not facilitate easy opening, making it less efficient.
- •Issues with the slide mechanism require users to modify or disable it for smoother operation.
- •Poor quality control with installation parts like plastic clips and small screws causing frustration.
Bottom Line
The Rev-A-Shelf 35-Quart Pull Out Trash Can has a visually appealing design and is constructed from durable materials, but its functionality leaves much to be desired. Many users found the soft close mechanism problematic, and modifications were often necessary to improve performance. If ease of use is crucial, consider seeking a model without the soft close feature to avoid potential headaches.
