REST Evercool Comforter
Pros

- •Made from silky, soft material that feels luxurious against the skin.
- •Very lightweight, easy to handle, wash, and dry quickly.
- •Maintains its cooling properties even after multiple washes.
- •Resistant to pet hair; dogs' hair doesn't stick and cats can make biscuits without damaging it.
- •Soft and marshmallow-like feel that offers premium comfort.
- •Effectively regulates temperature, helping prevent sweating and overheating.
- •Suitable for hot sleepers, especially in warm climates or summer.
- •Provides a cozy, sinking sensation without feeling heavy.
- •Visually appealing with high-quality construction and attractive color options.
Cons
- •The cooling effect can be limited and may diminish over time, especially if used with a top sheet.
- •Some users report that it warms up quickly, reducing its cooling benefits.
- •Silky texture may cause it to slip off easily if layered with a warmer blanket.
- •The design isn't the most attractive on its own; often needs a cover for aesthetic purposes.
- •Slightly smaller than expected for some, though still satisfying.
- •Might not significantly reduce sweating for extremely hot sleepers or in very humid environments.
- •The cooling sensation is most noticeable without a top sheet, requiring frequent washing.
- •It may not provide enough cooling for those seeking very aggressive temperature regulation.
- •The fabric warms up quickly, sometimes negating the cooling benefits.
- •Best suited for those prioritizing softness and comfort over intense cooling.
Bottom Line
The REST Evercool® Cooling Comforter is a soft, lightweight, and genuinely cooling option that can help hot sleepers improve their sleep quality. While its cooling effect is effective initially, it may diminish over the course of the night, especially when used with layered bedding. If you're seeking maximum, long-lasting cooling, you might want to explore products specifically designed for intense temperature regulation. However, for comfort, softness, and a subtle cooling experience, this comforter is a solid pick.
