Pros
- •Effectively washes dirt off the car with minimal product, creating a substantial amount of suds.
- •Prevents water beading, enabling a quicker, spot-free drying process.
- •Ideal for winter washing when drying can be challenging due to cold temperatures.
- •Water sheets off easily, reducing the need for towel drying and leaving vehicles with a brilliant shine.
- •Proven effective on both older model cars and trucks, leaving a smooth, silky feel during washing.
- •Offers a lot of washes from a single bottle, making it economical.
- •Trustworthy brand known for quality car cleaning products.
Cons
- •Did not provide a spot-free finish on black cars.
- •Leaves a streaky residue on paint and glass, requiring additional scrubbing to remove.
- •Fails to effectively lift dirt off, resulting in numerous spots and a dirty film.
- •Overall cleaning performance can be disappointing for some users.
- •Packaging claim of no drying needed may not always hold true; light drying can enhance appearance.
Bottom Line
Rain-X 620073 car wash soap is a reliable choice for many due to its ability to produce a brilliant shine and effective dirt removal for a wide range of vehicles. However, users with darker cars may experience streaking and residue issues, making drying a necessary step for the best finish. While the product excels in ease of use and economy, it's not perfect for everyone.
