Bottom Line
Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach Dry Dog Food Senior Adult 7 Plus Salmon and Rice Formula is a strong option for senior dogs with sensitive digestive systems and skin allergies, boasting vet recommendations and multi-faceted health benefits. However, recent formula revisions have stirred up health concerns and ingredient debates that make cautious buyers hesitate. If your dog is prone to digestive or heart-sensitive conditions, or if you want a larger package size, it’s wise to watch your dog closely for adverse reactions and consider alternative formulas or specialized diets — including some recommended raw diets that reviewers mention as safer choices.
