Pros
- •Good price for a vegan protein powder, especially in comparison to market trends.
- •Contains 20g of protein per serving with healthy, simple ingredients.
- •Offers versatility: can be used in smoothies, shakes, and even baking.
- •Attractive packaging enhances the overall appeal of the product.
- •Suitable for those following a plant-based diet and aims to build muscle or supplement their diet.
Cons
- •Too sweet for some, with 30% of reviews mentioning this issue.
- •Gooey texture that doesn't mix well, leading to clumping and poor dissolution.
- •Causes bloating and digestion issues over prolonged use for some users.
- •Taste may be bland when mixed with just water, losing appeal.
- •Other protein brands like Xtend Pro or Whey Isolate may offer better taste and dissolving abilities.
Bottom Line
Purely Inspired Plant-Based Protein Powder offers a solid vegan protein option with great ingredients and cost-effectiveness. However, its overly sweet taste, texture issues, and potential digestive discomfort can be drawbacks. If you're willing to get creative with how you use it (think shakes or pancakes!), it might still work for you. But if taste and mixability are a priority, exploring alternatives like Xtend Pro might be worth considering.
