Cons
- •Contains acrylates, known allergens that can cause skin reactions such as rashes, especially for those sensitive to nail products or floral ingredients like lavandula hybrida oil.
- •Acrylates also contribute to the product’s environmental impact as they are considered micro-plastics linked to PFAS concerns.
- •Some users report the initial scent from the combination of oils and alcohol as strong or unpleasant, even if it fades quickly.
- •Not ideal for anyone with floral sensitivities or allergies due to the presence of floral allergens.
- •A few users preferred the original Purell formula over this naturals version and did not intend to repurchase.
Bottom Line
Purell Naturals Advanced Hand Sanitizer offers a solid germ-killing performance with the added benefit of natural, plant-based ingredients and a pleasant, quick-drying user experience. However, if you have sensitive skin or allergies to floral components or acrylates, this product may cause irritation or rashes — and environmentally conscious shoppers should note its micro-plastic content. For those looking specifically for a milder formula without acrylates or floral allergens, exploring other sanitizers might be a smarter choice. If you want a well-rounded natural option but need to avoid acrylates, we can help you find alternatives tailored to your needs.
