Bottom Line
The PUR (PFM400H) Chrome Horizontal Faucet Mount with MineralClear Filter is a popular choice for those looking to enhance tap water taste and reduce reliance on bottled water. While it offers easy installation and significantly improves water quality, it may not be the best choice for households with hard water or newer model faucets. Consider this product for its convenience and taste improvement but be mindful of its potential durability issues. For those in areas with hard water or seeking a more durable option, an under-counter system might be a worthwhile investment despite the higher cost.
