Cons
- •Being the Digital Edition, it lacks a disc drive, so playing physical games or 4K Blu-rays requires purchasing the disc version instead.
- •The internal storage of 825GB can fill up quickly with modern game sizes, necessitating additional external storage or careful game management.
- •It runs hotter during intensive gaming sessions, requiring good ventilation to avoid overheating issues.
- •No optical audio output, which means some users need extra adapters or Sony Bluetooth peripherals for advanced audio setups.
- •Limited fan speed control means less user control over noise vs. heat balance during long, demanding gameplay.
- •Not all games currently take full advantage of PS5’s performance boost; some older titles or unpatched games don’t see improved graphics or speed.
Bottom Line
The PlayStation®5 Digital Edition 825GB – Fortnite Flowering Chaos Bundle is an excellent choice for gamers who prefer a sleek, disc-free console with cutting-edge graphics and ultra-fast load times, plus exclusive Fortnite content to sweeten the deal. However, if you want to play physical games or need more storage flexibility, you might want to consider the standard PS5 with a disc drive instead. For those concerned about storage limits or audio connectivity, plan on investing in external drives or audio accessories. Overall, this is a future-proof, next-gen powerhouse tailored for digital gamers ready to dive into Sony’s latest tech.
