Pros
- •The flavor is praised as amazing, with a perfect amount of sweetness from the honey roast.
Cons
- •Contains 90% peanuts, making it primarily a peanut mix.
- •There are complaints about the quantity of pecans, with only 2 halves typically found per can.
- •Limited variety with only a small number of cashews, almonds, and walnuts present.
- •The product is excessively salty, overpowering any intended sweetness.
- •Each nut tastes heavily coated in salt, diminishing the mixed nuts flavor.
- •Disappointment due to the imbalance of flavors; not enjoyable.
- •Suggests that honey roasted peanuts may be a better option due to the dominant peanut content.
Bottom Line
The Planters Honey Roasted Mixed Nuts offer a delightful sweet flavor but might not deliver the nut variety one would expect from a mixed nuts product. With 90% peanuts dominating the mix, consider opting for plain honey roasted peanuts if you're a peanut lover, but seek other brands if you're looking for a balanced taste of diverse nuts.
