🔥 Trending Deals

Pros

•Camera system delivers detailed, professional-like photos, especially in low light, thanks to upgraded hardware and AI processing.
•Bright, vibrant 6.7-inch OLED display with high refresh rate and peak brightness of 2400 nits offers an immersive viewing experience.
•Long-term support with up to 7 years of OS and security updates makes this a future-proof investment.
•Seamless and highly customizable Android experience enriched with Google AI features like call screening and live translation.
•Fast 50% charging in about 25 minutes and reliable wireless charging at 23W keep power up without much fuss.
•Advanced security with both Face Unlock and in-display fingerprint scanner, now more reliable.
•Durable with IP68 dust and water resistance, matte glass finish, and fingerprint-resistant coating for a solid build.
•The AI-powered features like Magic Editor and Magic Eraser help craft perfect photos effortlessly.
•Future-ready connectivity including Wi-Fi 7, mmWave 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, and UWB ensure fast, reliable connections.
•The phone’s software and hardware handle daily tasks smoothly, making it ideal for casual users who prioritize photography and AI features.

Cons

•The battery, while lasting several hours of screen-on time, is only so-so and can drain quickly with camera-heavy use.
•The 5050 mAh battery can get uncomfortable to charge quickly, especially during intensive use, with heat sometimes an issue.
•Slightly bulky and heavy design, and the protruding camera bar means it won't lay flat on surfaces.
•The fingerprint scanner is hit or miss for some users, which can be frustrating.
•Occasional software stability issues include random restarts, though an update is promised to fix this.
•Some users report wireless charging problems, making the feature unreliable for certain.
•The price point is high, given the modest battery performance and some connectivity quirks.
•The glossy metal frame feels a bit outdated, contrasting with the matte back finish.
•Lacks an audio jack, which could be a downside for wired audio enthusiasts.
•Heavy gaming or intensive app use could cause heating and frame drops, indicating weaker GPU performance despite the high-end chipset.

Bottom Line

The Google Pixel 8 Pro excels in photography, AI features, and a stunning display, making it ideal for casual power users. However, its middling battery life and some connectivity issues might lead you to consider alternatives or wait for future updates if longevity and gaming performance are priorities.
