Bottom Line
If you're after a straightforward, reliable audio recorder that captures sound clearly and is easy to use, the Philips DVT1170 is worth considering. However, its cheap plastic build and potential durability issues might give some pause, especially if you need a device built to withstand heavy use. For those looking for a more durable or premium feel, exploring alternatives like higher-end models or different brands might be beneficial.
