Pros
- •Folds flat for easy storage, accommodating limited kitchen space.
- •Compact design is more space-efficient than typical boxy graters.
- •Removable sides make it easier to use and clean, though detaching can be initially tricky.
Cons
- •Significant durability issues, with cracking and metal rusting shortly after purchase.
- •Lacks stability during use, leading to potential movement and safety risks.
- •Users experienced injuries due to instability and issues using the product.
- •Metal components aren't sharp or effective, requiring excessive pressure to grate.
- •Plastic surrounding metal grates is prone to cracking.
Bottom Line
The OXO Food Grater promises compactness and easy storage, but falters in key areas such as durability, stability, and safety. With multiple users reporting injuries and damage shortly after use, it may be worth considering alternatives that offer better reliability and sharper grating capabilities. This product might not live up to expectations for regular kitchen use.
