Used & Refurbished

- •Significantly increases daily water intake, often doubling or tripling it due to its easy sipping design.
- •Innovative FreeSip lid allows drinking two ways: sipping upright through a comfortable built-in straw or tilting back to swig from the wide-mouth spout.
- •Keeps water cold for up to 24 hours in most conditions without sweating on the outside.
- •Fits perfectly in most car cup holders in the 24 oz size, making it travel-friendly and convenient.
- •High-quality, durable stainless steel construction resists dents and scratches and feels premium.
- •Straw is easy to remove and clean thoroughly, ensuring hygienic use.
- •Spill-proof locking push-button lid effectively seals water tight to prevent leaks and accidental openings.
- •The bottle comes in several attractive colors that match product images accurately and add a fun style element.
- •Lightweight carrying loop doubles as a lock and makes it easy to hang or carry with a carabiner.
- •Smaller mouthpiece helps reduce spills and keeps the drinking area clean inside the lid.
Cons
- •Does not effectively hold ice as well as some users expected; ice tends to melt faster than anticipated.
- •Some users report the locking button breaking or malfunctioning after just a couple of weeks of use.
- •Customer service and warranty support appear to be unreliable and may not honor replacements for defective products.
- •The vacuum insulation adds some weight, and some wish a lighter, non-insulated version still designed to fit car cup holders was available.
- •Although the 24 oz fits cup holders well, larger sizes (32 oz and 40 oz) do not, limiting travel convenience.
- •Push-button lid can be a bit small or fiddly for some hands, making it slightly tricky for those with larger fingers.
- •Hand wash only — the bottle cup itself is not dishwasher safe, which may be inconvenient for some users.
Bottom Line
The Owala FreeSip Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle in Denim is a stylish, practical choice if you want a highly durable, spill-proof bottle with an innovative sip-and-swig lid that encourages you to drink more water throughout the day. It truly shines in keeping beverages cold for long stretches and fitting into standard car cup holders with its 24 oz size. However, if you’re an avid ice lover or need excellent warranty service, be aware that ice retention can be disappointing and support may be spotty. For those wanting a lighter or larger option that fits car cup holders, looking at alternative models may be wise. If you want to explore other bottles with similar features but possibly better ice retention or customer support, consider reviewing offerings from other brands known for robust insulation or easier service.
