Why this score?
The Outdoor Research Men's Helium Rain Jacket receives a moderate score due to its lightweight design and packability, favored by many users for outdoor activities; however, significant complaints regarding its lack of waterproofing undermine its value, with several reviewers reporting leak-through in light rain. While it offers comfort and a good fit for layering, potential buyers should be cautious regarding its actual performance in wet conditions.
