- •Heavier jump starter units may drain quickly if used heavily; avoid using override buttons when the battery is low
- •Limited warranty coverage after about two years, some concerns about longevity for high-cost units
- •Some reports of units failing outright or not holding a charge after a few months, indicating potential durability issues
Bottom Line
The NOCO Boost X GBX155 is a powerful and versatile jump starter ideal for heavy-duty use and larger vehicles. It offers reliable performance and fast recharge times, but potential buyers should consider reports of battery decline and durability issues over time. It’s a worthwhile investment for demanding conditions if longevity and warranty coverage are prioritized, or explore other models with longer warranties for infrequent use.
