Nesco VS-12 Vacuum Sealer
The Nesco Deluxe Food VS-12 Vacuum Sealer is a highly versatile and cost-effective option for those looking to preserve their food efficiently. It offers strong suction and multiple seal settings, making it suitable for a variety of needs. However, users should be aware of its bulky design and that the drip tray is not removable, which can make cleaning more challenging. Overall, it's a solid choice for home use but may require some patience and maintenance over time.

- •Effective double seal option creates durable seals that prevent leaks and freezer burn
- •Compact and lightweight enough to fit easily on most kitchen counters without dominating space

- •The unit sits slightly higher, meaning longer bags or additional support may be needed during sealing
- •Default single seal setting means extra steps to activate the double seal for extra security
Bottom Line
The Nesco Deluxe Food VS-12 Vacuum Sealer offers a solid combination of versatility, strong suction power, and convenient features at a very reasonable price point, making it an excellent choice for everyday home food preservation. Its pulse vacuum and multiple seal settings are especially useful for delicate or moist foods. However, its bulky footprint and non-removable drip tray may frustrate those with limited kitchen space or who want easy cleanup. If you need a reliable, feature-rich machine for bulk food storage and don’t mind some extra patience while sealing, this is a great pick. For those prioritizing speed or a removable drip tray, other models may be worth considering.
