Bottom Line
The Motorola Moto G 5G (2024) XT2417 is a solid budget-friendly 5G phone that impresses with speed, battery life, and a high-resolution camera, making it a smart upgrade for users on a budget or those interested in rooting their device for customization. However, the carrier lock limitations and poor customer support for unlocking issues are significant drawbacks to consider before buying. If carrier flexibility is a priority for you, double-check network compatibility or consider other Motorola models or brands known for unlocked options. Otherwise, for a feature-packed phone at a low price, this one delivers well.
