Bottom Line
While Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix offers benefits like improved water retention and plant growth, it may come with unwanted guests—specifically fungus gnats. Recent changes in the mix's formula have also drawn some criticism for its texture and appearance. If you're considering this potting mix, weigh the watering benefits against potential pest issues.
