Cons
- •Uses batteries quickly, likely due to high lumen output and power draw, so battery management is necessary
- •Does not feature automatic recharging when plugged in, which might be a downside for continuous use
- •Not as tall or bright as the larger M18 version, though it still provides sufficient illumination for most tasks
- •Some users mention that it can get hot during prolonged use, which could be a concern for extended work sessions
- •Limited to 1400 lumens, which may not be enough for extremely large or expansive lighting needs
- •Battery life can vary depending on usage and battery size, so longer jobs require larger batteries or multiple units
Bottom Line
The Milwaukee M12 Rocket LED Dual Power Tower Light is a solid, portable lighting solution that offers impressive brightness and durability at a budget-friendly price compared to its larger M18 counterparts. Its hybrid power options and compact design make it versatile for various tasks, from automotive repairs to home DIY. Just be mindful of the battery life, especially during intensive use, and consider carrying extra batteries if needed. If you need an even brighter or taller light, you might want to check out the larger M18 options, but otherwise, this light provides great value for its performance.
