Pros
- •Extremely comfortable to wear right out of the box with no break-in period needed
- •Fits perfectly and generally true to size, feeling almost custom-made for the feet
- •Provides excellent arch support and cushioning, making long hikes easier on the feet
- •Lightweight design adds to overall comfort
- •Stylish look with the Brindle color adds visual appeal
- •Stands out compared to many other shoe brands in terms of comfort and fit
Cons
- •Sizing can be inconsistent; some users report the shoe runs smaller than expected, while others say it runs slightly large
- •Careful sizing check is important to avoid the hassle of exchanging
- •Fit differs from the original barefoot-style series, which might not suit everyone’s preferences
- •Overall comfort is good but may not be a standout compared to some other specialized brands
Bottom Line
The Merrell Moab Speed Hiking Shoe in Brindle offers immediate, excellent comfort and solid arch support, making it a great choice for hikers who want a lightweight, stylish shoe without a break-in period. However, sizing can be a bit tricky, so we recommend trying them on carefully or considering a half size adjustment depending on your usual shoe fit. If you want a shoe with similarly great comfort but prefer a different fit style, you might want to explore other Merrell models or brands known for barefoot-style shoes for comparison.
