Pros
- •The removable scraper blades under the rollers make cleaning much faster and more thorough compared to models with permanent scrapers.
- •Designed with holes around the crank for adding an optional motor, which boosts color mixing efficiency and reduces arm strain on larger projects.
- •Rollers are smooth and wider (180mm), ideal for conditioning larger slabs of polymer clay.
- •Strong and extremely durable steel build, with many users reporting their machines lasting nearly a decade.
- •Simple, focused design dedicated to clay conditioning without unnecessary pasta-cutting extras, providing excellent value.
- •Detachable parts like front and back fenders and the loading plate make cleaning and handling long sheets of clay easier.
- •Stable when securely clamped to a sturdy tabletop, enabling steady use during clay work.
- •Comes with two plastic brackets and a metal rod serving as scrapers and supports for added functionality.
- •Suitable for professional polymer clay artists thanks to its ease of maintenance and reliable performance.
- •Smooth gear adjustment allows fine control of thickness settings for precise results.
Cons
- •The machine must be clamped to a tabletop, which may cause surface scratches unless a protective block is used.
- •Initial assembly can be tricky due to lack of clear instructions; users often rely on online tutorials.
- •The handle might detach unexpectedly if not securely fastened during use, causing some frustration.
- •Some users find it difficult to keep the machine perfectly in place during operation if the clamp is not tight enough.
- •Rollers may have scratches or blemishes out of the box, so inspection upon receipt is advised.
