- •The M4 chip offers a significant performance improvement over earlier models.
- •Noticeable speed improvement compared to previous models (M1, M2, M3).
- •Ideal for first-time Mac users, offering ease of use and an enjoyable experience.
- •Performs excellently when upgrading from a slower laptop.
- •Highly recommended for those transitioning to a Mac environment.
Cons
- •Considered overpriced for the performance offered.
- •Some users found it underpowered, not meeting expectations for value.
- •The 256GB internal drive is insufficient for users needing more storage.
- •Software takes up a significant portion of the disk space, highlighting the need for a larger storage option.
Bottom Line
The 2025 MacBook Air with the M4 chip shines with noticeable performance improvements and is highly recommended for users transitioning to the Apple ecosystem. However, it may feel overpriced for its specs, particularly due to limited storage capacity. If you're looking for greater storage, consider models with higher SSD options.
