- •Lightweight and portable enough for two people to move easily, and one person with some effort.
- •Simple assembly with straightforward steps, typically taking about 20 minutes.
- •Made from tough, durable resin that pairs well aesthetically with other outdoor resin products.
Cons
- •Screws are self-tapping into plastic, making overtightening or power tool use risky as it can damage connections or strip panels.
- •Some flex in the structure causes noticeable movement when people sit or stand.
- •The plastic surface is relatively thin and not very impact-resistant, so rough use can cause damage.
- •Benches do not tuck under the table when folded, making one-person transport a little awkward.
- •Assembly requires careful screw tightening to avoid damage and ensure stability.
- •Slight wobble despite the sturdy build, which can affect stability for some users.
- •Screws holding benches and tabletop can feel insecure due to being installed through slots in plastic.
- •Packaging during shipping is often poor, potentially causing initial wear to the product (though the product itself remains durable).
Bottom Line
The LIFETIME 22119 Folding Picnic Table is a highly durable and weather-resistant choice for outdoor dining, comfortably seating six adults with the convenience of folding flat for storage or transport. Its resin construction is easy to clean and holds up well over many years, though the plastic surface can be thin and somewhat flexible, so it’s best suited for moderate use rather than harsh treatment. Assembly requires some care with screw tightening to avoid damage, and the slight wobble and awkward folded shape may be minor drawbacks for portability. Overall, if you want a long-lasting, low-maintenance picnic table that balances strength and convenience, this model delivers nicely. If you’re looking for a product with a more impact-resistant surface or bench design that folds more compactly, you might want to explore other Lifetime resin tables or similar brands specifically emphasizing heavy-duty use.
