Cons

- •The remote control is counter-intuitive, lacking LED indicators for use in the dark, which makes navigation difficult.
- •There are bugs that cause the TV to wake up to the last opened app about 50% of the time instead of going to sleep.
- •Noticeable backlight zones are visible, especially on bright backgrounds like a blue sky.
- •The TV experiences backlight bleed during movies with black bars.
- •LG account integration with Google Assistant is frustrating and inconsistent.

Bottom Line
The LG UHD UQ75 Series 43” (43UQ7590PUB, 2022) offers impressive display quality and sound at a budget-friendly price, making it a strong contender for gaming and streaming. However, the lack of a voice-compatible remote and challenges with installation and mounting could be cumbersome for some. If voice control and easy installation are a priority, consider investing in the optional Magic remote and ensuring you have the right wall mounting equipment. Despite these setbacks, it remains a worthwhile purchase for its picture and audio quality alone.
