Cons
- •The remote's cursor pointer can be frustrating, jumping erratically and difficult to permanently disable, which complicates menu navigation for some users.
- •The AI features on the remote and TV interface add unnecessary complexity without clear benefits, causing a steeper learning curve.
- •Some visible screen glare near windows, even with blinds down, which is a common OLED issue but might be noticeable in bright living rooms.
- •No dedicated mute button on the remote, requiring volume to be lowered to zero instead.
- •No physical manual or quick start guide included, so some users will need to rely on online resources for settings and advanced configuration.
Bottom Line
The LG OLED77C5PUA is a stunning, feature-rich 77-inch OLED TV that delivers true-to-life picture quality, excellent sound, and sleek design perfect for stylish living rooms or gaming setups. While the remote's cursor system and added AI features may annoy some users looking for simplicity, the overall user experience and premium image performance make it one of the best TVs for 2025. If you want flawless color fidelity and advanced gaming capabilities with a picture that pops, this TV is definitely worth considering. However, if you prefer a simpler remote experience without the quirky pointer, exploring other LG models with more traditional remotes might be worthwhile.
