Bottom Line
The LG LDFN4542S Dishwasher offers a whisper-quiet performance and stylish looks but may leave you less than satisfied with its drying ability and overall cleaning power, especially on tougher loads. If you're prioritizing quiet operation and an attractive design in a dishwasher, this model could work if you're willing to manually dry. However, for those seeking robust cleaning performance or considering heavy cooking needs, exploring alternative options or perhaps a more reliable installer is advisable. Keep a lookout for potential reliability issues and ensure clear communication on installation and service, avoiding potential headaches.
