- •Picture quality is stunning with vivid colors and deep blacks, delivering an experience close to OLED, especially in 4K movies.
- •The 75-inch Mini LED screen is significantly brighter and larger compared to older models, making a big impact for media and gaming.
- •120fps gaming capability provides smooth, responsive gameplay, appealing to serious gamers.
- •Setup is straightforward and fast, assisted by an AI assistant for configuration.
- •The Magic Remote with a built-in trackpad offers convenient control, even doubling as a mouse for other devices like Apple TV.
- •The webOS interface is fluid, fast, and easy to navigate once familiar.
- •Solid build quality with a sleek design and thin bezels enhances the overall viewing experience.
- •Reliable performance out of the box with no startup glitches and a good refresh rate.
- •Excellent value during sales, providing high-end features without the ultra-premium price.
- •No risk of image burn-in compared to OLED, making it more durable for long-term varied use.
Cons
- •Audio can be problematic, with long delays in sound through eARC and occasional need to reset or switch audio output settings.
- •Customer support experiences have been disappointing, with unresponsiveness and unresolved issues.
- •Occasional blooming can be noticed in very bright scenes, though this isn’t frequent or highly distracting.
- •Screen glare is an issue due to a glossy finish, which can be a concern in well-lit rooms or with light sources behind the viewer.
- •The TV is very large and heavy, requiring more than one person for setup or mounting.
- •Eye comfort mode is helpful but often requires manual brightness adjustments during nighttime viewing.
- •Most users rely on external sound systems since the built-in speakers are not emphasized.
Bottom Line
The LG 75QNED90TUA offers a jaw-dropping 75-inch Mini LED 4K viewing experience with vivid colors, deep blacks rivaling OLED, and gamer-friendly features like 120fps support. While the picture quality and smart functionality are top-notch, expect some quirks with audio handling and glare in bright environments. If you prioritize picture brightness and size with fewer worries about burn-in, this is a fantastic choice. However, if you want flawless audio performance out-of-the-box or a more matte screen to combat reflections, you might want to explore other premium options or invest in a quality external soundbar alongside this TV for the best all-around experience.
