- •Customizable power profiles allow users to optimize performance without risking hardware longevity or excessive heat.
- •Keyboard quality is high with excellent RGB lighting, though without a number pad; the trackpad, while plastic, remains responsive and precise.
- •Comes with PC GamePass, giving access to a large library of games, a nice bonus for gamers wanting versatility out of the box.
- •Offers flagship-tier features and engineering at a more reasonable price compared to many competitors with similar specs.
Cons
- •Battery life is underwhelming, lasting only 2 to 2.5 hours during moderate tasks like YouTube playback, meaning gamers will almost always need to stay plugged in.

- •Fans can get loud under heavy load, which, while manageable, could be distracting in quieter environments.
- •The plastic trackpad feels like a minor downgrade compared to premium glass surfaces, especially given the high-end build elsewhere.
- •Missing a number pad on the keyboard may bother users who rely on one for productivity.
- •Some users have reported build quality concerns, specifically hardware malfunctions causing display issues like red lines appearing on the screen after short use, which raises durability questions.
- •The power button light remains on constantly without an easy way to disable it, which some users find annoying.
- •The product does not include a UK plug adaptor as advertised for some users, leading to frustration and perceived misleading information.
Bottom Line
The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is a beast of a gaming laptop that delivers exceptional performance and breathtaking visuals with its OLED 16" 240Hz display and flagship NVIDIA GPU. It’s a top-tier choice for serious gamers and creators who value power and stunning image quality, but it comes with trade-offs like short battery life, noticeable fan noise, and a heftier chassis that limits portability. If you’re looking for desktop-level gaming performance on the go and don’t mind plugging in most of the time, this laptop is a fantastic pick at a competitive price point. However, if durability concerns or battery life are dealbreakers, keep an eye on alternatives or ensure warranty coverage is solid.
