Pros
- •Offers excellent value for money
- •Delivers impressive speed and performance
- •Leaves buyers very satisfied with the purchase
- •Features are well-implemented
Cons
- •Runs noticeably slower than expected for the processor specs, underperforming compared to older generation laptops with lower-tier processors
- •Experienced constant boot loops and persistent Blue Screen of Death errors out of the box
- •Required an additional $600 investment in RAM replacement to achieve basic functionality
- •Not suitable for professional 3D imaging or CAD work
Bottom Line
So here's the thing: while this Legion 5i *claims* to offer excellent value and some users are genuinely thrilled with theirs, we're seeing red flags that can't be ignored. Multiple reviewers are getting hit with blue screens of death straight out of the box, and others are facing an unexpected $600+ bill just to get replacement RAM working properly. Even wilder? Users are reporting that this laptop actually underperforms compared to older, *cheaper* models with less impressive specs on paper—which really makes you wonder what's going on under the hood. If you need something reliable for professional CAD or 3D work, definitely keep looking; but if you're primarily gaming and doing general productivity work, and you're willing to accept some quality inconsistency for the price, it might still be worth the gamble.
