Pros
- •Looks nice on display, making it a good piece for home or office decor.
- •Great for space enthusiasts who enjoy detailed replicas of real-life space missions.
- •Designed primarily for adult builders, offering a challenge and a mindful building experience.
Cons
- •Too many stickers are used for detailing instead of brick prints, which detracts from the quality for many builders.
- •Build experience is repetitive, with the launch platform receiving more focus than the rocket itself.
- •Some users reported missing pieces, which can disrupt the building process.
- •Instructions are unclear in parts, adding to the difficulty and building frustration.
- •Some builders found the process tedious, and overall satisfaction varied, with a number finding it disappointing.
Bottom Line
The LEGO Icons NASA Artemis Space Launch System model is a magnificent display piece that's particularly rewarding for adult space enthusiasts, despite some tedious build aspects. However, be prepared for a challenging build experience with unclear instructions and the potential need for patience due to the use of stickers and reports of missing pieces. Ideal for display rather than play, this set is a remarkable addition for those enamored with the intricacies of space exploration.
