- •Offers an elegant and visually stunning finish, particularly appealing when displayed with lights at night.
- •Exceptional build quality and creativity provide enjoyment for both builders and observers.
- •Instructions are generally easy to follow, making it suitable for beginners.
Cons
- •The 'Powered up' function is ineffective, often producing a high-pitched whine with sticking keys.
- •White keys do not lay flat, causing frustration during assembly.
- •Missing pieces have been reported, which is concerning given the high price.
- •The piano is largely appreciated for its appearance, as the functionality comes with limitations such as a 25-key electronic connection.
- •Playing experience is limited to pre-recorded songs controlled via an app; random key playing is not possible.
- •Fixing issues with the delicate moving mechanism can be challenging and time-consuming.
- •Batteries are not included, which is disappointing for a premium-priced product.
Bottom Line
If you're a fan of LEGO or a music lover, the LEGO Ideas Grand Piano 21323 is a stunning addition to any collection, combining the charm of a grand piano with the fun of a detailed LEGO build. While it's more of a display piece due to its mechanics and limitations, the intricate design and quality craftsmanship make it a must-have for enthusiasts. However, potential buyers should be aware of some common functionality issues, including the limited playability and a fiddly mechanism, which might require patience and precise handling.
