Pros
- •Effective at moving a high volume of air despite some mechanical issues.
Cons
- •Poor quality design and flimsy materials result in dissatisfaction, particularly during assembly.
- •Fan blade is unbalanced, leading to excessive vibration and occasional contact with the shroud, creating noise.
- •Oscillating feature failed shortly after purchase on two separate units.
- •Back plate and motor head design cause instability; issues become prominent during oscillation.
- •Overall disappointing experience compared to past Lasko products.
Bottom Line
The Lasko Cyclone 18 in. Adjustable Pedestal Fan initially seems promising, delivering powerful airflow. However, critical design flaws such as vibration, noise, and premature oscillation failure overshadow its performance, leading to dissatisfaction. If reliability is a priority, you may want to consider other brands with more robust construction.
