- •Toilet seat requires screws to be removed for detachment, contrary to expectations of easy release.

Bottom Line
The KOHLER Stonewood® Quiet-Close™ toilet seat offers a good fit and sturdy construction with a reliable slow-close feature. However, expectations set by misleading product descriptions and video demonstrations resulted in various disappointments, particularly concerning cleaning ease and hinge durability. Before purchasing, potential buyers should be aware that this model does not include a quick-release function and may require more frequent maintenance to ensure stability.
