- •The tub is large, deep, and spacious, comfortably fitting two people and offering a luxurious soaking experience akin to a jacuzzi without jets.
- •Acrylic material quality is excellent, with a smooth, easy-to-clean surface free of imperfections or grooves.
- •Features a generous 3-inch-wide edge/shelf for convenient placement of soaps, shampoos, and razors.
- •Well-made and durable, with proven reliability over more than a year of use.
- •Attractive white finish enhances the bathroom's appearance significantly.
- •Provides excellent value compared to pricier whirlpool tubs.
- •Packaging is sturdy and protective, minimizing risk of damage during shipping.
- •The tub bottom is raised to allow for a comfortable soaking depth.
Cons
- •Installation is challenging and not very DIY-friendly, requiring a large amount of thinset mortar (6-8 bags) for proper leveling and support.
- •The drain hole is slightly angled, complicating drain installation.
- •Leveling feet are inaccessible once installed, meaning adjustments require moving the tub in and out.
- •Lacks a tile flange, so wall tiles must extend over the tub edge, which may complicate finishing work.
- •The smooth acrylic surface can be slippery when wet; non-slip stickers or mats are recommended.
- •The bottom scratches easily during construction and must be handled with care.
- •The tub’s depth and large size require careful planning for fit and installation space.
Bottom Line
This Kingston Brass Aqua Eden tub is a spacious, high-quality acrylic soak tub that delivers a comfortable, luxurious bathing experience with an attractive design and solid durability. However, its installation is not for the faint of heart—it involves significant masonry work, tricky drain alignment, and careful handling of the delicate surface. If you're up for the challenge and want a good-sized tub that feels like a quiet mini-jacuzzi without the jets, this is a strong choice worth considering. Just be sure to plan the installation carefully or consider professional help to avoid headaches.
