Cons
- •The unit is hefty (~61 pounds), which makes regular portability a challenge; better suited for fixed placement.

- •The battery may only reach 99% charge, and it can lose about 7% overnight even when turned off.
- •The app disables certain functions like "Battery Saving Mode" and has limited control over the battery pack alone.
- •The handle is too short, making rolling less stable, and the overall weight hampers frequent movement.
- •Slow solar recharge despite multiple panels; additional panels would be needed for practical solar use.
- •The unit's auto shut-off after 24 hours and no app control over this feature can be inconvenient for some.
Bottom Line
This Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus is a powerhouse suited for long-term, heavy-duty backup or off-grid living thanks to its expansive capacity, fast recharge via AC, and expandable battery system. However, software glitches, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity issues, and poor solar charging performance can be major frustrations. If solar charging is a priority, you may want to consider other models that reliably support solar input. For indoor, stationary use where maximum power and longevity matter most, this is a compelling option despite its weight and minor software quirks.
