Cons
- •The high price for a renewed phone might raise eyebrows, especially since it’s close to some brand-new flagship prices.
- •Some of the Apple Intelligence AI features are still in early stages and can feel underdeveloped or hard to discover and use regularly.
- •The new Camera Control button, while convenient, can be fiddly and prone to accidental presses; some users find sliding gestures less intuitive than on-screen controls.
- •Occasional stutters or crashes in demanding games have been reported, possibly linked to software bugs rather than the hardware itself.
- •The overall upgrade from the iPhone 15 Pro feels incremental, with no groundbreaking new software or hardware features that demand an immediate upgrade.
- •Apple still keeps many features tightly locked within its ecosystem, which may frustrate users seeking more open customization or cross-platform flexibility.
- •The device’s default image processing tends to be aggressive, flattening highlights and shadows, which might not satisfy photography purists.
- •The slightly larger size can feel awkward for some users who prefer smaller, more easily handled phones.
Bottom Line
The Apple iPhone 16 Pro in Black Titanium (Renewed, Unlocked, 256GB) delivers all the premium bells and whistles expected from Apple’s flagship, including a gorgeous display, powerhouse performance, and standout camera capabilities — all wrapped in a sleek, durable titanium shell. If you want a future-proof device with great storage and carrier freedom and don’t mind the renewed status at a top-tier price, this is a solid pick. However, if you’re on the fence about paying close to new-phone prices or want the absolute freshest tech, consider waiting or comparing with brand-new models in this range. The renewed factor offers value, but only if you’re comfortable with a phone that’s not exactly fresh out of the box.
