Cons
- •The screen refresh rate is limited to 60Hz, which is lower than the Pro’s 120Hz, potentially noticeable for users who prefer super-smooth scrolling and animation.
- •Battery life, while good, drains quicker compared to some previous iPad models and may not last for heavy all-day use.
- •The onboard storage of 256GB is ample for many, but heavy media users may need more.
- •The Magic Keyboard accessory designed for this iPad lacks backlit keys, which could be inconvenient for low-light typing sessions.
Bottom Line
The Apple iPad Air 11-inch with the M3 chip offers exceptional performance, premium build, and a stunning display at a price that undercuts the iPad Pro without a big compromise in power. It’s a top pick for students, creatives, and professionals who want a versatile, portable device with excellent Apple ecosystem integration. However, if you desire a higher refresh rate screen or longer battery longevity for intensive all-day use, you might want to explore the iPad Pro lineup. For most users, this Purple iPad Air hits the sweet spot of power, portability, and price.
