Pros
- •The 11-inch Liquid Retina display is bright, vibrant, and sharp, making video watching, content editing, and browsing a pleasure.
- •Powered by the new M3 chip, performance is fast, smooth, and future-proof, handling demanding tasks like photo editing and gaming without breaking a sweat.
- •Battery life easily lasts all day, suitable for work, school, or travel.
- •The sleek, lightweight, and premium build quality in a striking purple color makes it both attractive and portable.
- •Highly accurate Apple Pencil support with magnetic charging offers an excellent experience for drawing and note-taking.
- •Offers similar power to the iPad Pro at a lower cost, making it a great value option for users wanting strong performance.
- •Connectivity via Wi-Fi 6E is fast and reliable, enhancing online activities.
- •Seamless multitasking with instant app launches keeps productivity smooth and efficient.
- •The screen feel is notable for being closer to glass, which improves writing and drawing precision with the Apple Pencil.
Cons
- •The screen refresh rate is limited to 60Hz, which, while fine for most users, is lower compared to the smoother 120Hz Pro model.
- •Battery life, although all-day, is not quite as long-lasting as the iPad Pro, which might be noticeable for heavy users.
- •Storage is capped at 128GB for this model, which could be limiting for users needing more space for apps, media, or large files.
- •While the device is durable, many users strongly recommend investing in a screen protector and case to maintain its premium look and feel.
- •Touch ID, while secure, lacks the Face ID convenience found on higher-end iPads.
Bottom Line
The Apple iPad Air 11-inch with M3 chip offers impressive power and a stunning display that punches well above its weight class, especially for creatives and everyday multitaskers who appreciate Apple Pencil support. It strikes a great balance between performance, portability, and price, making it a top choice if you don’t need the Pro model’s 120Hz refresh rate or larger storage options. If you want the absolute smoothest display or longer battery life and more storage, you might want to consider the iPad Pro instead. Still, for most users, this iPad Air is a sleek, capable, and stylish choice that won’t disappoint.
