- •The 15-foot round pool is visually appealing and retains quality even in extreme heat, providing an enjoyable summer experience.
- •Weekly maintenance is simple and straightforward, with no reported issues with algae growth when using recommended chemicals and practices.
- •Overall positive pool experience, providing satisfaction to users over multiple years.
Cons
- •Customer service receives poor reviews for unhelpful responses and repeated requests for information.
- •Quality issues include the pump failing and holes appearing over time, with dissatisfaction regarding the liner's reliability and price.
- •The included small cartridge pump is inadequate for maintaining clean water, necessitating additional purchases of cleaning products and a better pump option.
- •The new liner was reported to have a significant leak, raising concerns about product quality.
- •Purchasing a separate sand filter pump may reveal missing parts and require additional investments in conversion parts.
Bottom Line
The Intex 26725EH Prism Frame Set Above Ground Pool is a solid choice for those looking for an easy-to-set-up and visually appealing pool, with straightforward maintenance. However, potential buyers should be aware of the inadequate pump and quality concerns such as leaks in the liner. Considering purchasing an Intex pool with a sand filter pump may solve these issues, but keep in mind that extra costs for missing parts might arise. If reliability is a major concern, exploring alternative brands with better customer service may be worthwhile.
