Bottom Line
While the Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO offers excellent video and night vision quality with reliable range and durable build, it suffers from hardware inconsistencies, weak battery life, and some technical glitches like echo issues. If you're willing to deal with occasional technical quirks and the limited battery, it can serve as a dependable monitor. However, considering the price and reported reliability problems, you might want to explore alternative models with better firmware stability and rechargeable cameras, such as the <component-button-product identifierProduct="12345-67890...">, which many users find more reliable for long-term use.
