- •Performs reliably and consistently well for a wide range of cutting tasks, from household jobs to heavy-duty uses like cutting plastic-wrapped hay bales.
- •Durable, sturdy construction with quality materials that hold up to daily hard use.
- •Folding lock-back mechanism is secure and easy to operate, even when wearing gloves, preventing accidental openings.
- •Comes in a convenient 3-pack with two different blade types (standard and hook) to reduce frequent blade changes.
- •Blade can be flipped to use both edges, effectively doubling blade life.
- •Slim, non-bulky design since it doesn’t store extra blades inside the handle.
- •Includes a loop for attaching a lanyard, helping to keep the knife from getting lost.
- •The knife resists getting jammed or gummed up by debris like drywall dust, and it can be taken apart for thorough cleaning.
- •Highly regarded and trusted by users who often keep multiple units on hand and plan to repurchase.
- •Easy to hang for quick access during work.
Cons
- •The all-black color, while sleek, can make the knife easy to misplace; users recommend adding tape or paint for visibility.
- •Lack of internal blade storage means you need to carry spare blades separately.
Bottom Line
The NEW!! HUSKY Folding Lock-Back Utility Knife (3-Pack) offers durable, reliable cutting performance with smart features like a flip blade and lock-back safety mechanism. Its rugged build suits both everyday and heavy-duty tasks, making it a solid value especially given the 3-pack. Just be prepared to manage your spare blades separately and consider marking the knives for visibility. If you want a compact, tough, and versatile cutter that users rave about for durability and functionality, this is a great choice. If internal blade storage is a must-have for you, you might want to explore other models with built-in blade compartments, but for straightforward, no-nonsense utility, this Husky set hits the mark.
