- •Credited with aiding in maintaining excellent health and condition even at an older age.
Cons
- •The larger kibble size in the Senior 7+ formula does not suit all cats, leading to dissatisfaction.
- •Some cats showed disinterest and refused to eat it, sometimes preferring other options or their old food.
- •Cats with specific preferences, such as a preference for wet food, may not accept this dry kibble.
- •Disappointment due to change in kibble size, differing from the previous adult version.
Bottom Line
Hill's Science Diet Indoor, Senior Adult 7+ Dry Cat Food is a solid choice for aging cats, especially those prone to digestive issues. Its formulation supports senior cats' nutritional needs and has shown positive effects on their overall health. However, picky eaters or cats accustomed to smaller kibble may not take well to the larger kibble size introduced in this formula. It's best for those whose cats have adapted well to Hill's Science Diet products in the past, but owners with particularly selective pets should proceed with caution.
