Bottom Line
The Garmin Varia RTL515 offers strong safety features like vehicle detection and high visibility lights, making it a solid choice for cyclists prioritizing awareness on the road. However, its recurring mounting and connectivity issues, combined with outdated charging methods and some reliability concerns, suggest it might not be the best long-term investment for everyone. If you want a more secure mounting solution and modern charging, consider exploring models with better hardware reliability or newer connectivity options.
