Bottom Line
While Purina Friskies Seafood Sensations is an affordable, widely-available option that many cats genuinely enjoy and that can work well for feline friends with sensitive stomachs, the recent formula changes and digestive issues reported in 40% of reviews are definitely worth taking seriously. If your cat has a history of eating this food without problems, we'd recommend proceeding with caution—consider starting with a small bag to monitor for any vomiting or refusal to eat, especially if you've noticed changes in the formula. For cats prone to digestive sensitivities or those experiencing adverse reactions to the red dye, you might want to explore alternatives with simpler, more natural ingredient lists before committing to a 30 lb bag.
