Pros
- •Kids love it, as it's just like a real broom/mop at the perfect height for them.
- •The sweeper handle features durable real wood, adding to its longevity.
- •Cloth holds onto the sweeper very well with Velcro and is machine washable.
- •The set actually allows for real cleaning, which is perfect for engaging kids.
- •Cute packaging and the dust bunny and spider web add an adorable touch.
Cons
- •The product needs cloth refills, which aren't included with the original purchase.
- •Some interest wanes over time, particularly with the cobweb and dust bunny.
- •Material on the duster could be less stiff, causing it to slide out of the wand.
- •Not all kids are interested in the duster aspect of the set.
Bottom Line
The Fisher-Price Clean-up and Dust Set is a delightful and durable toy that cleverly combines fun and practicality for preschoolers. While kiddos can get involved in pretend play by actually cleaning, keep in mind that the duster might need some improvement and additional cloth refills could be necessary. Overall, it’s a great choice for little ones who love to mimic household cleaning tasks.
