Pros
- •Significantly improved cleaning performance, making dishes, flatware, and bowls come out clean and shiny.
- •Glasses have no film or spotting, which is a notable improvement.
- •Convenient one-pod design eliminates the need for measuring liquid detergents.
- •Proper loading and positioning in dispenser can improve effectiveness.
- •User satisfaction suggests continued use and preference over other brands.
Cons
- •Strong, unpleasant smell from detergent pods affects the taste of dishes and beverages.
- •The soapy chemical taste lingers on dishes, cups, and especially problematic for items like coffee cups and baby bottles.
- •Fragrance may trigger allergies and is not suitable for sensitive users.
- •Requires multiple washes to try to remove persistent taste and scent.
- •Less effective on baked-on food, requiring additional soaking or cleaning efforts.
Bottom Line
The Finish Quantum Powerball Dishwasher Pods impress with their ability to leave dishes clean and spot-free, but the overpowering scent and lingering soapy taste might be a deal-breaker for those with sensitive noses or specific taste concerns. If you're looking for fragrance-free options, this might not be the best choice, as even fans of its cleaning power have expressed a desire for an unscented version. Be aware that the pods may not handle baked-on residues as well as hoped, so additional cleaning steps might be necessary.
