- •Balanced mix of detailed treble and well-tuned bass, suitable for a variety of genres

- •Strong value, offering high performance that can rival more expensive headphones
- •Metal components and sturdy plastic give a solid, premium-feeling build

- •Non-shouting upper mids prevent listener fatigue during extended use
- •Generally very comfortable, even for larger heads, with ear cups that don’t heat up during prolonged use
Cons
- •Plastic cups can produce a hollow sound and some vibrational noise when handling
- •Cups are non-swiveling, which might affect fit for some users, and do not rotate at all
- •Ear pads can feel shallow and may cause discomfort or pressure after long sessions
- •Microphonics and noise from the cable during movement can be distracting
- •Slightly heavy bass may not be ideal for bass-heavy tracks like EDM, lacking punch for some tastes
- •Some users reported rattling noise at connection points and build minor durability concerns with plastic components
- •Portability is limited due to the large size and non-folding design
- •Ear cups pressed against ears if not fitted perfectly, leading to discomfort for some users
- •The hollow plastic construction can impact durability over time
- •Slight gaps in midrange and bass, impacting some detail and punch on certain tracks
Bottom Line
The FiiO JT1 offers impressive sound quality and build at an attractive price point, making it a strong contender for budget audiophiles or casual listeners alike. Its stylish design, comfort, and balanced sound profile make it a versatile choice, especially for those who prioritize aesthetics and enjoyable listening over studio neutrality. However, if you're seeking headphones with ultra-durable construction or a more neutral sound signature, you might want to explore alternatives like the <component-button-product identifier="12345-67890">Audio-Technica ATH-M50x</component-button-product> for a more robust build and a slightly more neutral sound, or consider upgrading to headphones with a swivel cup mechanism for added comfort.
