Pros
- •Contains a lot of rookie cards in each mega pack, which collectors often seek
- •Includes unique inserts such as pieces of players' jerseys, Dart inserts, patch cards, and color variations, adding special collectible value
- •Offers good value for the price given the volume and variety of cards
- •Provides an enjoyable unboxing experience, especially appealing for children and collectors who love surprises
- •Suitable as a gift and well-received by younger recipients and collectors alike
Cons
- •Card quality is consistently poor, with many cards having bent corners, damaged edges, and mis-cut or ripped pieces
- •Quality control appears to be lacking, leading to issues such as visible imprinted lines and cards that do not lay flat
- •The overall feel of the cards is disappointing and often considered not worth the money paid
- •The contents depend heavily on luck and randomness, so some users may be dissatisfied with their pulls
- •Damage to cards seems to be a manufacturing defect rather than an issue caused by handling or shipping
Bottom Line
If you’re looking for a fun, gift-worthy package with lots of rookies and interesting inserts to add to your collection, the FB Absolute (25-26) Mega Box delivers in terms of quantity and collectible variety. However, be prepared for inconsistent card quality, including bent corners and manufacturing defects that might irk more serious collectors. If pristine card condition is a priority for you, you might want to consider other products with a stronger reputation for quality control. Otherwise, this box can be a lot of fun for casual collecting and gifting.
