- •Positive experience with consistent and satisfactory temperature results.
- •Reliable staple for reptile keepers, with consistent performance reported over multiple orders.
- •Good packaging ensures bulbs arrive safely despite mishaps during delivery.
Cons
- •More than one bulb failed quickly after installation.
- •Initial excitement over single bulb's performance didn't extend to the four-pack.
- •Several bulbs arrived with visible singe marks and broke soon after use.
- •Returns were complicated as the replacement required returning all four bulbs.
- •Size might be larger than expected, affecting compatibility with some fixtures.
- •Some units arrived covered in dust and required cleaning before use.
Bottom Line
While the Exo Terra Sun-Glo Basking Infrared Spot Lamp offers impressive heat and is loved by reptiles like bearded dragons, the disappointing performance and reliability of multiple bulbs from the four-pack are noteworthy. If seeking a durable and dependable lighting solution, you may consider exploring alternatives or test a single unit before committing to a multi-pack.
