Pros
- •Indistinguishable in appearance and quality compared to non-branded replacements.
- •Provides comparable performance to non-branded options at half the price.
- •New baffle design is thinner, allowing food to pass through more easily.
- •Effectively reduces noise from garbage disposal, making it quieter.
- •Made of soft rubber material that fits well in the existing hole.
- •Good choice for replacing a worn-out original baffle.
- •Effectively resolves kitchen sink leaks.
Cons
- •New design does not fit as snugly into the metal ring as the original baffle.
- •Noticeably louder than the original design.
- •Original baffle's feature of preventing objects like spoons from falling in is missing.
- •Considered somewhat overpriced but necessary for optimal function.
- •Lack of available video resources for installation may be inconvenient.
Bottom Line
The Antimicrobial Quiet Collar Sink Baffle (Evolution Series) offers effective noise reduction and fits well into existing setups. While it's a cost-effective alternative to non-branded replacements, it doesn't quite replicate the snug fit and object protection of the original design. Those prioritizing ease of installation and long-term fixes will find it satisfactory, though the price may be a point of contention for some.
